I took this picture in Bonaire, but every time I look at it I’m reminded of another trip to the Texas Flower Gardens. During a night dive, we were diving under the boat. When you looked up, the lights from the boat created silhouettes of hundreds of barracuda circling under the boat that we had to ascend through to get back onto the boat. Fun times!

I took this little guy’s picture in Belize back in May, 2018. The Sharpnose Pufferfish is actually quite small at around 4 inches long max. This one was smaller.

Due to their popularity, we had to make an appointment to see these Mandarinfish. They only come out briefly at dusk, so to avoid crowds, the local dive resorts take turns each night.

Another photograph from my trip to Palau in 2010. This is inside Chandelier Cave. It is a small cave (more like a cavern) with three caverns of trapped air that you can surface within. At one point when we were in the last cavern, the dive guide had us turn off our lights, and we could see the glow of the entrance underwater which made it really easy to find our way out.

The beach at the Palau Pacific Resort in Palau back in 2010. I haven’t been back to this resort since then, but based on their website, it is much different now.
