Just chilling while hanging with some Reef Sharks in the Bahamas.
Photograph of the Week
This photo is for my mother who has been asking for a picture of me. Unfortunately, since I am the one taking the pictures, I never have any pictures of myself. Fortunately, my dive buddy, Ann, took this picture of me in the Cayman Islands back in 2016. Normally, I would be wearing a wet-suit, but on this particular occasion I forgot to pack it. Luckily, it was the middle of summer, and the water temperature was 86F.
Photograph of the Week
I took this photograph from inside a small undercut in the reef at about 90’ looking out towards open water. I don’t remember ever seeing the photograph the other diver took of me, though.

During the previous dive, the dive master speared a Lion Fish. A few hours later during our next dive, this Nurse Shark was circling the area checking out each diver looking for the food.
Merry Christmas!

Pipefish are rather small but fun to try and capture on camera. Lembeh has several different species. This is the Halimeda Ghost Pipefish.
Happy Thanksgiving
I am thankful for the opportunity to have traveled to the other side of the world where I got to lie on a beach and watch a sunset.
