Anna’s Chromodoris - Lembeh, North Sulawesi, Indonesia - 2016

This is a nudibranch named “Anna’s Chromodoris”. There is a term in SCUBA diving called “muck” diving. It means to search through the sand, mud and other detritus at the bottom of a murky body of water looking for beautiful and interesting sea creatures such as this one. I spent a week with Lonestar Scuba doing just that in the Lembeh Strait, Indonesia back in 2016. This was just one of the beautiful and interesting sea creatures we found. This is another throwback to my first trip to Bonaire in 2006. It is the propeller of the Hilma Hooker. The shipwreck lies on its starboard side in about 100 feet of water putting this picture taken at about 70 feet deep.

Blue Corner, Palau - 2010-02

I took this while hanging out at the Blue Corner in Palau back in 2010 with an old Canon Powershot S90 compact camera. The clown fish are a little blurry because my shutter speed was not high enough, but I just like the colors.
