This is a nudibranch named “Anna’s Chromodoris”. There is a term in SCUBA diving called “muck” diving. It means to search through the sand, mud and other detritus at the bottom of a murky body of water looking for beautiful and interesting sea creatures such as this one. I spent a week with Lonestar Scuba doing just that in the Lembeh Strait, Indonesia back in 2016. This was just one of the beautiful and interesting sea creatures we found. Lembeh is famous for its “muck” diving and did not disappoint us.

I sometimes use this as wallpaper on my desktop. It is the Blue Lagoon Resort in Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia.

This was my first trip with Lonestar Scuba back in 2004. After a morning of SCUBA diving in the red tide, whole other story, we took a trip up north and rode horses around this volcano. I think this is Orosi Volcano, but I’m sure I will be corrected by someone that was there with us. (I know it is NOT Arenal.) These parrots were hanging out near the visitor center when we first arrived off the bus.

This is my old 1984 Jeep CJ-7 in Palo Duro Canyon during a Jeep Jamboree in 2006. I think my brother, Houston, is driving and I am taking the picture, or it could be the other way around. I’m not entirely sure.

Beautiful, but you don’t want to be standing here when the tide comes in.

This is another throwback to my first trip to Bonaire in 2006. It is the propeller of the Hilma Hooker. The shipwreck lies on its starboard side in about 100 feet of water putting this picture taken at about 70 feet deep.

I took this while hanging out at the Blue Corner in Palau back in 2010 with an old Canon Powershot S90 compact camera. The clown fish are a little blurry because my shutter speed was not high enough, but I just like the colors.
