The blue and black ribbon eels were once thought to be different species but are now considered to be the juvenile and adult stages of the same species.

This photograph was taken, I assume, by one of my parents approximately 35 years ago. (Wow, I’m getting old!) I’m not entirely sure where this is, but it is probably Colorado. I’m the one on the right about to wipe out.

I took this picture of my mother fifteen years ago at the Log Cabin Village fall festival in Fort Worth, Texas where she played her music for the guests as they arrived.
